We are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join our busy warehouse operations in Sacramento, California. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in the efficient movement of goods within our logistics facility. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack inventory. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, electric) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Transport inventory to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and organize products in racking systems.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times while operating equipment.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proven knowledge of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to safety.
- Familiarity with logistics operations.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
