Are you an experienced Order Picker looking for a new opportunity in Virginia Beach, Virginia? We are hiring! This position is key to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customers receive their correct items quickly and efficiently. You will be responsible for accurately locating and picking products based on order slips, using various warehouse equipment, and preparing items for shipment. The role requires significant physical activity, including repetitive lifting and movement. A strong commitment to safety, including the mandatory use of PPE, is essential for all our team members. Responsibilities:
- Read pick lists and locate assigned items in the warehouse.
- Use RF scanners and other equipment to track inventory.
- Verify picked items against order accuracy.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipping.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company safety standards and use PPE correctly.
- Participate in team efforts to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to perform consistent lifting of products up to 45 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and inventory systems.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Understanding of logistics operations.
- Commitment to safety practices and PPE compliance.
