We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our Grand Rapids, Michigan distribution center. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be integral to the efficient functioning of our logistics operations, contributing to all aspects of warehouse management. Your duties will encompass receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping. This role is dynamic and requires a proactive approach to managing inventory and ensuring timely product movement. We emphasize a culture of safety, and all associates are expected to strictly adhere to safety protocols, including the proper wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The position involves considerable physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting. Candidates must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment.
- Process orders using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Stage outgoing shipments and verify order accuracy.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and audits.
- Assist with general warehouse upkeep and organization.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals in logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Proficiency in standing, walking, and performing physical tasks for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with WMS and RF scanning equipment is a plus.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must comply with all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Must be reliable and possess a strong work ethic.
