We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators for our state-of-the-art facility in Sacramento, California! This is a critical role within our Logistics operations, requiring skilled individuals to safely and efficiently move, stock, and retrieve materials. You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe operation, a valid forklift certification, and a keen eye for detail. We prioritize a Safety-first culture and provide comprehensive training on our specific equipment and procedures. All necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided. This position involves significant physical activity, including regular Lifting and maneuvering of heavy loads, so candidates must be comfortable with these demands. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and store inventory in appropriate locations.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and use required PPE.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Support overall Logistics and material handling needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification (e.g., OSHA-compliant).
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Demonstrated ability to perform frequent Lifting of heavy materials (up to 70 lbs).
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Familiarity with Logistics and inventory management systems is a plus.
