We are hiring an Order Picker for our facility in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma! In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse inventory to fulfill customer orders. Your tasks will involve reading order sheets or using scanning devices to locate and select the correct items and quantities. Precision and speed are key as you contribute to the efficient flow of our logistics operations. Maintaining a safe work environment is our top priority; therefore, all employees must strictly follow safety regulations and wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. The position requires physical dexterity, including the ability to reach, bend, stoop, and perform frequent Lifting of items up to 40 pounds. You will work in a team-oriented atmosphere, striving for accuracy and efficiency in order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
- Select correct items and quantities from inventory based on order pick lists or scanner data.
- Ensure accuracy in order fulfillment by double-checking picked items against order requirements.
- Handle products with care to avoid damage during the picking process.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and picking routes.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including Lifting guidelines and mandatory PPE usage.
- Achieve performance goals for order picking speed and accuracy.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or potential issues to the supervisor.
