Join our dynamic team as a Shipping & Receiving Associate in Boise, Idaho! In this critical role, you will be the first and last point of contact for goods entering and leaving our facility. Your responsibilities will include accurately receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and preparing outgoing shipments for delivery. You'll meticulously document all inventory movements, ensuring accuracy and traceability throughout the logistics process. This position demands attention to detail, efficient workflow management, and a strong commitment to safety protocols. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, organized, and possess a strong work ethic. As a Shipping & Receiving Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse and contributing to our overall supply chain efficiency. You will be expected to operate various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (certification provided if needed), to move materials. Adherence to all safety guidelines and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and work in a fast-paced environment is essential. This role offers a competitive hourly wage and the opportunity for growth within our company. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage and discrepancies.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Document all received and shipped items accurately in the inventory system.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, labeling, and staging.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and carriers.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety standards and the use of PPE.
