Job Summary:
Are you meticulous and organized? Our St. Louis, Missouri facility is looking for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain the accuracy of our warehouse stock. This vital role ensures that our inventory levels are precise, minimizing discrepancies and optimizing stock rotation. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, performing regular audits, investigating stock variances, and implementing strategies to improve inventory accuracy. A deep understanding of warehouse logistics and best practices is essential. Your work will directly impact operational efficiency and reduce potential stockouts or overstock situations. We are committed to a safe working environment, providing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhering to strict Safety guidelines. The ability to perform moderate Lifting and to work meticulously with data is key. Join our team and play a pivotal role in the success of our supply chain management.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
  • Implement and monitor inventory control procedures.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and suggest improvements.
  • Manage stock rotation and ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles are followed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with all warehouse Safety regulations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform moderate Lifting as needed.
  • Knowledge of inventory control techniques and best practices.
  • Commitment to maintaining a Safe and organized warehouse.
  • Willingness to utilize all designated PPE.
