Are you a highly organized and efficient individual? We are seeking an Order Picker to join our distribution center in Baltimore, Maryland. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is crucial for ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, a cornerstone of our **Logistics** operations. You will use picking equipment, such as pallet jacks and RF scanners, to locate and gather items. Maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all **Safety** protocols are paramount. Responsibilities:
- Read order sheets or use RF scanners to accurately pick specified items from warehouse locations.
- Retrieve products from shelves and place them in designated containers or carts.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping areas.
- Maintain an organized and efficient picking process.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to supervisors.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely.
- Adhere to all **Safety** guidelines, including the proper use of **PPE** (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order instructions and product labels.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and other warehouse technology.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work independently and meet productivity targets.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and **Lifting** up to 50 pounds.
- Commitment to **Safety** and adherence to all **PPE** requirements.
- Basic understanding of **Logistics** principles is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
