Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Inventory Control Specialist for our San Antonio, Texas facility. This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, which is vital for our logistics operations. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, managing inventory adjustments, and ensuring optimal stock levels. A strong understanding of warehouse procedures and a commitment to safety are essential. You will work closely with various departments to resolve inventory issues and improve processes. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment. We emphasize safety and require adherence to all guidelines, including the use of PPE.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and potential issues.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
  • Manage inventory adjustments and ensure proper documentation.
  • Coordinate with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to resolve inventory-related problems.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements for inventory management.
  • Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
  • Train other team members on inventory control best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
  • Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory principles.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and wearing required PPE.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or higher in a related field preferred.
