Build and manage a high-performing BI and Data Warehousing team that scales with business needs.
Develop strong relationships with stakeholders to identify data requirements and guarantee effective deliverables.
Lead data warehouse initiatives, ensuring top-notch data quality and operational efficiency.
Design, develop, and implement innovative data models and pipelines for production use.
Craft insightful dashboards and visual data representations to guide strategic decision-making.
Establish and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for all data sets and processes in operation.
Champion efficiency and speed through project management leadership, envisioning how BI can catalyze proactive enhancements across the company.
Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of 4 years of experience (or 2+ years with a Ph.D.) in applied analytics, including at least 2 years in analytics team management.
An extensive background with 8+ years in BI and Data Warehousing.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field.
A proven record of initiating and delivering BI, data warehousing, and/or analytical projects with minimal supervision.
Experience in presenting analysis findings to executive leadership.
Project management experience.
Expertise in data architecture.
Strong skills in data querying languages (e.g., SQL) and proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (such as Python or Java).
Over 2 years of experience managing teams, including leading and scaling groups of 3 or more members.
Collaborative experience with cross-functional teams, including Data Engineering, Data Science, Software Engineering, and Product Management.
Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with large data sets, Hadoop, and data visualization tools.
Experience in the consumer web or mobile industry.
Advanced degree.
Public Compensation: $177,000/year to $247,000/year plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Industry:
