An
ACTIVE Secret Clearance
is mandatory for this position. Selected applicants will undergo a security background check and must comply with eligibility requirements to access classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance. Key Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. 7-10 years of software development experience. At least 3 years of hands-on experience applying machine learning techniques in real-world applications. Strong programming skills in Python. Experience with developing data preprocessing pipelines and machine learning workflows. Proficient in handling time-series, telemetry, or event-based datasets. Experience in implementing anomaly detection or pattern recognition methodologies. Proven track record of deploying machine learning models into production or operational software environments. Strong collaboration skills, effectively working within engineering teams. Active Secret clearance. Core Responsibilities: Explore machine learning and AI integration possibilities within existing software microservice frameworks. Design and implement machine learning models focused on anomaly detection, pattern recognition, and data analytics. Utilize both supervised and unsupervised learning approaches to analyze complex datasets. Develop algorithms to uncover patterns, correlations, and trends in large data sets. Create and maintain data processing pipelines to facilitate machine learning tasks. Integrate machine learning functionalities into production software and analysis tools. Architect models that adapt as data formats and system capabilities evolve. Collaborate with engineering and systems teams for integration, testing, and evaluation of new capabilities. Enhance the performance of machine learning software in specialized computing environments. Participate in validation activities to ensure system performance and usability. Document algorithms, models, and system behavior for operational usage and future refinements. Prototype Development & Integration Responsibilities: Develop deployable software prototypes demonstrating machine learning features in realistic operational scenarios. Conduct user evaluations and testing to assess model effectiveness and usability. Incorporate feedback from analysts and system users to refine models and workflows. Assist in embedding AI/ML capabilities within broader software and system frameworks. Contribute to required documentation and technical resources for transitioning prototypes into operational settings. Preferred Skills and Experience: Background in handling complex sensor, telemetry, or system event data, especially in Electronic Warfare contexts. Familiarity with sequence modeling, graph analytics, or time-series analysis. Experience in developing explainable or interpretable machine learning models. Prior experience integrating machine learning into existing software infrastructures. Exposure to testing, evaluation, or operational demonstrations of advanced software solutions. Experience working within government, defense, or highly regulated environments. Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Compensation:
Compensation at SimVentions is determined by factors such as experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, and competencies. The anticipated annual salary range for this role is $100,000 - $135,000 (USD), reflecting the standard range for the position.
