The Developer Experience (DevX) organization is dedicated to empowering our engineers to efficiently and reliably create, build, test, and deploy high-quality code. We achieve this through the development of products and systems specifically designed to meet the needs of Coinbase engineers. As a key member of the Mobile DevX team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of mobile development at Coinbase. Utilizing React Native and Expo, you'll develop innovative tools aimed at enhancing the developer experience and streamlining app release processes. This unique opportunity allows you to make a significant impact on the mobile ecosystem at a leading fintech company and collaborate with a team of exceptional engineers working on projects that serve millions of users. Join us in revolutionizing mobile application development! Responsibilities: Develop and maintain mobile infrastructure using React Native as well as iOS and Android technologies. Create and enhance developer tools to optimize the mobile development workflow. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to introduce new features and enhance app performance. Implement automation for app releases to ensure seamless Over-The-Air (OTA) updates. Participate in code reviews and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Stay informed about the latest mobile development trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team. Ideal candidates will possess: Expertise in React Native or significant iOS/Android development experience, with a willingness to learn React Native. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, as our tools are developed in these languages. A strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset aimed at enhancing developer experiences. Excellent communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred qualifications: A proven record of contributing to high-quality, scalable mobile applications. Experience with mobile infrastructure and developer tooling. Familiarity with Swift or Kotlin. Knowledge of cross-platform development practices. Prior experience at a fintech or tech company recognized for mobile innovation. Job #: P70471 Pay Transparency Notice:
* Depending on your work location, the target annual base salary for this position can range as detailed below. Total compensation may also include equity, bonuses, and benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).
