Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs an SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our pupils. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that meet the complex ASC & SEMH needs of all pupils.
- Supporting the class team in facilitating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
- Reporting on pupils' progress and concerns, collaborating with other school staff to ensure all needs are met.
- Supervising pupils during non-classroom time, including extracurricular activities and school trips.
- Building positive relationships with your pupils to drive interaction and achieve positive learning outcomes.
To thrive in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Possess a suitable qualification at degree level.
- Have previous successful teaching experience.
- Experience working with pupils with SEND in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques.
- Commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn.
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to commencing work.

The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS Check, with the cost covered by Polaris Education.
