SEN Teacher

Basic Salary: £28,000 - £39,520

Contract: Full Time, Term Time Only

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the complex ASC & SEMH needs of all pupils.
• Support the class team in facilitating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
• Report on pupils' progress and concerns, collaborating with other staff to ensure all needs are met.
• Supervise pupils during non-classroom times, including extracurricular activities and school trips.
• Build positive relationships with your pupils, driving interaction and fostering positive learning outcomes.

To thrive in this role, you should:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have a suitable qualification at degree level.
• Bring previous successful teaching experience.
• Possess experience working with pupils with SEND in an educational setting.
• Have knowledge of behavior management techniques.
• Be committed to professional development and eager to learn.
• Be willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work.

The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS Check, with the cost covered by Polaris Education.
