Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs an SEN Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the complex ASC & SEMH needs of all pupils.
- Support the class team in facilitating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
- Report on pupils' progress and concerns, collaborating with other staff to ensure all needs are met.
- Supervise pupils during non-classroom times, including extracurricular activities and school trips.
- Build positive relationships with your pupils, driving interaction and fostering positive learning outcomes.
To thrive in this role, you should:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have a suitable qualification at degree level.
- Bring previous successful teaching experience.
- Possess experience working with pupils with SEND in an educational setting.
- Have knowledge of behavior management techniques.
- Be committed to professional development and eager to learn.
- Be willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work.

The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS Check, with the cost covered by Polaris Education.
