Responsibilities Demonstrated experience in leadership and people management within complex software development environments.
Deep expertise in software architecture, including application, database, and systems design.
Proven ability to manage large-scale software projects and lead cross-functional teams.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Strong understanding of product development processes and operational challenges in distributed systems.
Experience collaborating with executive management and influencing organizational policies.
Preferred Skills: Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and microservices.
Knowledge of contemporary DevOps practices and tools.
Understanding of large-scale distributed databases and networking technologies.
Ability to drive technical vision and strategy.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Over 5 years of management experience leading engineers in software development.
More than 7 years of experience in delivering and operating large-scale, highly available distributed systems, preferably as a service owner.
At least 3 years of experience leading in large organizations with multiple management layers.
Proficient in Java, GoLang, C++, or C, with experience in scripting languages like Python.
Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and foundational distributed systems concepts.
Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, storage protocols, and standard network architectures.
Robust understanding of databases, storage solutions, and distributed persistence technologies.
Strong troubleshooting abilities and performance tuning skills.
Experience in developing scalable, cloud-native distributed systems.
