Position Summary:
HMK Landscaping is seeking an experienced, results-driven Landscape Sales Associate to join our growing organization. This role is responsible for managing the full sales cycle, serving as the primary point of contact for clients from initial consultation through project completion. The ideal candidate is a seasoned sales professional with extensive knowledge of outdoor construction and design, exceptional communication skills, and a strong ability to develop lasting client relationships while consistently achieving revenue objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Consultation & Site Evaluation: Conduct in-depth consultations with residential and commercial clients to assess site conditions, understand project goals, budgets, and design preferences.
Proposal & Estimate Development: Collaborate closely with design and project management teams to develop accurate, competitive, and high-margin proposals and estimates utilizing LMN software.
Sales Presentations & Contract Negotiation: Professionally present design concepts and solutions, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and successfully close projects to meet or exceed sales targets.
Client Relationship Management: Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle to ensure satisfaction and a seamless transition to operations and installation teams.
Industry Knowledge & Advisory: Remain current on industry trends, materials, and systems including hardscaping, softscaping, irrigation, lighting, and outdoor living features to provide informed guidance to clients.
CRM & Reporting: Accurately document all sales activities, client communications, and pipeline progress within the CRM system
Qualifications & Skills Experience: 8–10 years of proven sales experience, preferably within the landscape industry, including hardscaping, softscaping, pools and spas, outdoor kitchens, decking, and outdoor lighting.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present professionally in person, by phone, and via email.
Sales Expertise: Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales goals with strong negotiation and closing skills.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with computers, email, and CRM or estimating software.
Physical Requirements: Ability to conduct on site visits in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds when required.
Licensing : Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.

Compensation & Benefits Compensation: Base salary plus commission based on experience.
