Primary Skills (Mandatory) Java Spring Boot Apache Kafka AWS Cloud Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend microservices Build and expose RESTful APIs using Spring Boot Lead development activities in an Agile environment Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka Develop cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services Containerize applications using Docker and support modern deployment practices Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and security Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers Participate in code reviews, debugging, and production support Implement logging, monitoring, and performance tuning in cloud environments Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services Strong expertise in Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices design Experience with Apache Kafka for messaging and event streaming Solid understanding of cloud-native development and containerization (Docker) Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB Hands-on experience with logging, monitoring, and performance tuning Proficiency in Git and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline Nice-to-Have Skills Banking or Financial Services domain experience Kubernetes or container orchestration exposure Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform / CloudFormation)
