Landscape Foreman

Job Description

Artistic Design Landscapes is a full-service landscape management company based in Hudson, NC. We specialize in professional design, installation, and maintenance of all aspects of landscaping. Our services also include outdoor lighting, paver patios, retaining walls, water features, and custom outdoor living spaces. We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our hardworking and dedicated team.

Responsibilities

·         Manage daily landscape operations and supervise technicians

·         Create a trusting relationship with clients 

·         Read landscape plans and implement them in the field

·         Maintain necessary paperwork for daily operations

·         Manage jobsite production and productivity

·         Safely and properly operate power equipment (such as, but not limited to, tractors, skidsteers, mini-excavators, dingos, and small power equipment)

·         Install landscape lighting and hardscape features (including retaining walls, pavers, natural stone/boulders, water features, etc.)

·         Install plant material using proper horticultural techniques

·         Perform landscape maintenance when needed

Education

·         High school diploma preferred

·         ICPI and/or SRW certification desired but not required

·         Degree in turf management/horticulture/related field desired

Mandatory Requirements

·         3-5 years prior landscape/hardscape experience (installation of all phases of landscaping, outdoor lighting, pavers, retaining walls, water features, and outdoor living spaces)

·         Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
