Join Our Dynamic Team as a Lead Embedded Software Developer! Are you passionate about embedded firmware and looking to make a significant impact in an energetic environment? Our GPU Platform Software team is in search of a talented and driven Lead Embedded Software Developer. In this exciting role, you will play a key part in crafting advanced service-processor firmware for GPU-driven cloud servers, working closely with a skilled team across multiple hardware and software disciplines. Your expertise will be crucial in the development and troubleshooting of Oracle OpenBMC and ILOM firmware on Oracle NVIDIA GPU platforms. This position offers a remarkable opportunity to collaborate with GPU vendors and Oracle’s specialists in various areas such as operating systems, electrical design/validation, diagnostics, and quality engineering. From server design to customer support, you will be engaged in every thrilling stage of firmware development. Key Responsibilities: Establish and enhance standard practices and procedures within our software engineering unit. Design and create software for tasks involving both embedded systems and operating systems. What We Are Looking For: Proficiency in C and Python

Deep understanding of OS kernel internals .
6-10 years
of relevant software/firmware development experience.
Ability to debug using hardware debuggers and system-level software simulators.
Adeptness at adapting to a rapidly changing technical landscape.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
A self-starter who excels in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong critical and creative thinking abilities. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with ARM and X86 architectures and UEFI. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across different locations. Solid background in Linux and Windows development. Hands-on experience with various connectivity protocols like PCIe, SPI, I2C/I3C, IPMI, USB, and UART. Knowledge of system management standards such as IPMI, KCS, PLDM, MCTP, and Redfish. Experience in firmware security and device monitoring. Understanding of REST architecture, particularly JSON over HTTPS with OAuth. We offer a competitive salary range from $96,800 to $223,400 per annum, along with potential bonuses and equity.
