You will provide technical leadership across the Android function, guiding architecture decisions, mentoring developers, and ensuring best-in-class performance, security, and user experience.
Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of enterprise-grade Android applications Define and enforce architectural standards (MVVM, modularisation, clean architecture) Oversee integration with RESTful APIs and backend services Champion secure coding practices, encryption, and authentication standards (biometric, MFA, token-based) Provide technical mentorship and conduct code reviews Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, and Backend teams to drive delivery Optimise performance, scalability, and maintainability Support release strategy, CI/CD pipelines, and production stability Required Experience: Extensive Android development experience (Kotlin preferred) Proven experience in a Lead or Senior-level engineering role Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack components, and modern architecture patterns Experience building secure, API-driven mobile applications at scale Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and engineering best practices Experience working in regulated or high-security environments is advantageous Applicants must be eligible to work full-time in Ireland without restriction. xcfaprz
