Senior Project Manager

On-site (with some flexibility) | 12+ Month Project | Major CAPEX

I’m currently supporting a client who has just secured approval to hire a Senior Project Manager to deliver two significant capital projects within a manufacturing environment.

This role will report directly into the hiring manager and will involve engagement with senior leadership, sponsors, and board‑level stakeholders, so we’re looking for someone comfortable operating at that level.

• 
  
• IT / Critical Systems Infrastructure Upgrade – Expansion of a secure computer systems and IT infrastructure space following recent cyber security concerns. Installation is already underway with a major contractor delivering much of the work, and the successful PM will oversee completion and coordination.
  
• Bulk Transfer Process Installation (Mechanical / Process Project) – Installation of a new continuous feed line from tanker deliveries into the process environment, replacing the current manual transfer process. The project will involve significant pipework and mechanical systems, working with a preferred design house and established suppliers. • 
  
• Senior Project Manager with CAPEX project delivery experience
  
• Experience in pharma, fine chemicals, or similar regulated manufacturing environments
  
• Comfortable reporting to SLT, boards, and project sponsors
  
• Experience managing multi‑disciplinary engineering projects (mechanical / infrastructure)
  
• Strong stakeholder and contractor management

• Project length: 12+ months
  
• Mostly site‑based role (5 days ideally) with some flexibility
  
• Working alongside preferred suppliers and engineering partners
  
• Opportunity to take ownership of two high‑value projects from delivery through completion
