U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required for this position. Primary Responsibilities: Design, implement, and integrate network changes while supporting customer systems in a WAN environment.
Conduct thorough planning and analytical research to align network designs with customer specifications.
Manage network systems to ensure 99% uptime and seamless connectivity.
Deliver contract capabilities efficiently using industry standards and processes.
Mitigate risks and control costs and schedules to effectively manage large-scale projects.
Perform diverse analytical tasks involving hardware and software design and implementation.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with less than 2 years of experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Possess DoD 8750 certification at IAT level II, Security+ CE, or equivalent certification.
Demonstrated experience analyzing VLAN, routing, IP addressing, and subnetting.
Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls, F5 appliances, and Splunk systems.
Proficient in troubleshooting and configuring IP networks using BGP, ISIS, OSPF, or static routing.
Familiar with either service provider or enterprise IP networks, using Cisco (ESR and ASR) and/or Juniper routers.
Knowledge of and experience with ports and protocols.
Must currently hold an active DoD Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications: Expertise in both Juniper and Cisco configuration, troubleshooting, and design.
Experience with Cisco IOS XR, JUNOS, and Cisco IOS codes.
Ability to script in Perl or similar languages for running backup configurations and extracting information from routers.
Knowledgeable in IPSEC configuration, troubleshooting, and design.
Experience with MPLS and IPV6 configuration, troubleshooting, and design.
Familiarity with modern security protocols and DDoS attack mitigation.
Experience in crypto configuration and design.
Understanding of Layer 2/3 VPNs and firewalling concepts.
Practical experience with physical cable plant and wiring.
Certifications with major network vendors like Cisco are highly regarded.
Excellent project management, technical, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Extensive experience in network integration across various protocol standards.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey technical information effectively.
Familiarity with DoD regulations and directives is advantageous.
