This role emphasizes site health, crawlability, performance, structured data, and platform-level SEO initiatives. You will collaborate closely with development, UX, and analytics teams to ensure search engines can effectively access and interpret site content. Lead technical SEO strategy and execution across the e-commerce platform. Conduct regular site audits to identify and rectify technical issues (e.g., crawl errors, broken links). Optimize site architecture, internal linking, and indexation strategies. Monitor site speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile performance. Implement and manage structured data (schema markup). Partner with development teams on SEO-related releases and site migrations. Track and report on technical SEO performance using tools like GSC, Screaming Frog, and SEMrush. Demonstrate leadership in line with Rural King's Thrive Leadership Program. Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily decisions while upholding confidentiality and professionalism. Engage in learning initiatives such as training programs, workshops, and webinars to enhance your skills and stay updated with industry developments. Provide friendly, proactive, and professional support to internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly. Supervisory Responsibilities Yes Essential Qualities for Success Bachelor's degree in Marketing, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of technical SEO experience, preferably in an eCommerce setting. Strong experience with SEO tools (Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs). Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Comfortable navigating computer systems and software for customer assistance or activity management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Physical Requirements Able to remain seated or standing for extended periods. Capable of lifting up to 15 pounds periodically. Able to navigate and access all facilities. Effective verbal communication skills, in-person and via electronic devices. Close vision required for computer-related tasks. The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $68,000 annually, with bonus eligibility. Compensation is determined by factors including geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs.
