We are recruiting a committed Design and Technology Teacher to join a specialist PRU school in West Drayton, working with students with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Design and Technology Teacher who can deliver hands-on learning and re-engage students through practical subjects.
As a Design and Technology Teacher in this West Drayton setting, you will support students who thrive in a more practical learning environment, helping them build skills, confidence, and focus. A strong Design and Technology Teacher will be able to adapt lessons and create a structured, engaging classroom.
The Role - Design and Technology Teacher
Delivering practical lessons as a Design and Technology Teacher
Teaching small groups of SEMH and PRU students
Planning engaging, hands-on sessions suited to a West Drayton setting
Supporting students in developing technical and problem-solving skills
Acting as a consistent and positive Design and Technology Teacher role model
Managing behaviour in a calm and structured manner
Ideal Candidate - Design and Technology Teacher
Experience working as a Design and Technology Teacher
