Job Title: IT Systems and Data Analyst
Job Summary :
SAIC is seeking an experienced IT Systems and Data Analyst for the Network Information Technology Enterprise Services (NITES) contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, data visualization, and the ability to clearly present findings that drive operational efficiency and mission success. As a Data Analyst on the System Administrator team, you will bridge the gap between raw data and meaningful insights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, engineers, and program managers, to ensure that data is leveraged effectively to meet project objectives and Government requirements.

Key Responsibilities :
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM) tools including SolarWinds, Liquidware Stratusphere UX, NetTerrain, Nutanix AHV, Omnissa Horizon, and Excel documents. Experience in Windows OS Desktop, VDI, Microsoft Server, Server Query Language (SQL) to include SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Additional vendor professional services support will be provided on a limited basis to support operational and engineering efforts. Design and build executive level insightful and digestible dashboards and reports using Business Intelligence (BI) data visualization tools. Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement in system performance, security, and user experience. Working closely with system administrators and technical leads to understanding the operational needs of the NITES contract. Translate technical system data into understandable products for use in briefings and decision-making processes. Develop scripts, queries, and workflows to automate data collection, transformation, and aggregation tasks. Qualifications
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and 0 years related experience.
Required Qualifications :
Active Security+ certification (DoD 8570/8140 compliant). 3-6 years' experience supporting enterprise IT environments. Experience working with enterprise monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds or equivalent monitoring tools. Experience building dashboards using Power BI or similar visualization tools. Experience using SQL or similar query languages to analyze data. Familiarity with Windows Server environments and enterprise virtualization platforms. Understanding of network fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and network monitoring. Education :
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related technical discipline. OR
High School Diploma plus 7 years of relevant experience. Clearance Requirements :
Secret is required. Top Secret/SCI is preferred. Technical Skills :
Experience supporting DoD enterprise IT environments. Experience with Stratusphere UX, Ivanti Service Manager, or Ivanti Xtraction. Experience building operational dashboards supporting IT service management processes. Experience automating reporting tasks using PowerShell or scripting languages. Experience analyzing infrastructure performance and capacity trends. Soft Skills :
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to translate complex data into clear and concise reports and presentations. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills. Certifications (optional but preferred): VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP). Data analytics certifications such as CompTIA Data+, Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), or certifications in Power BI or Tableau. Work Location :
Onsite with limited work from home capabilities. Up to 10% of travel.
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
