Job Summary:
The Software Engineering Intern will support G6 software team with current project testing, documentation, and software development. Projects will include MVD Touch Screen, RD&E Dashboard and AI/Automation projects.
Responsibilities
Gain hands-on engineering experience on remote monitoring software based projects. Work directly with other engineers and professionals in a team environment and see how Toshiba's engineers work together to deliver success. Develop your skills under the supervision and guidance of experienced professionals. Design, write, code and document programs for various embedded CPU system. Have knowledge and understanding of CPU architectures as used in embedded systems. Write source code C, Python, JavaScript languages. Be able to test and debug embedded code using debuggers, emulators, and target systems. Debug, test and modify code written by others. Use various editors and compilers to generate source code. Experience in Linux, Python, automated testing, web design. Should have experience/understanding of firmware (interface with hardware), peripheral electrical circuits and computers. Good communicator. Able to work directly and remotely with other engineers and professionals in a team environment and see how Toshiba's engineers work together to deliver success. Develop your skills under the supervision and guidance of experienced professionals. Travel:

Requirements:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
Current enrollment in Software Engineering or Software Technology program at an accredited college or university.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Ability to work 40hrs per week at our office located in Austin, TX Must be a team player and able to work in a culturally diverse environment. Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
