As part of our team, you will use your software development knowledge to manage tasks related to developing, debugging, and designing enterprise-class software applications. Working in a successful product development team following an agile, iterative process, you will support problem-solving initiatives, analyze issues, and recommend innovative solutions in high-pressure environments. Our product code spans all layers of a complex multi-tier distributed environment. Responsibilities What You'll Bring: Consideration for the Java Software Engineer Intern position in Oracle Health and Analytics requires meeting the following Objective Minimum Qualifications (OMQs): Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field during the 2025-2026 academic year, with a commitment to return post-internship. Proficient in Java , demonstrated by the ability to complete coding projects independently. Skilled in at least one additional programming language such as JavaScript, Python, SQL, or HTML/CSS. Ability to implement sophisticated algorithms and data structures in complex systems with the highest quality standards. Experience (through projects, internships, coursework, or research) in at least three of the following areas: Object-Oriented Design Microservices Container Architecture (Docker/Kubernetes) Machine Learning/AI Operating Systems Cloud Computing Multithreading Distributed Systems Database Management Web Development Web Services User Interface Design Completed at least one internship, research assistantship, or teaching assistantship related to the above areas. Must reside in the United States and/or attend a university in the US. Able to obtain work authorization in the US in 2026. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum GPA of 3.0.
