About the role: As a Director, AI Data Infrastructure, you will provide strategic leadership across diverse teams. These teams guide the design, development, and governance of enterprise AI platforms, AI models, data architecture, prompt engineering, deployment, monitoring, and AI & data security. You will set the vision for scalable and secure AI capabilities, ensuring agreement on organizational priorities while accelerating innovation and operational excellence across the enterprise. You will report to the Chief Technology Offer and work a hybrid schedule in Cranberry, PA., or Madrid, Spain. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy Define and execute the strategic roadmap for AI platforms, data architecture, and model lifecycle management. Lead teams specializing in AI model development, prompt engineering, deployment, and monitoring. Collaborate with business units to identify AI opportunities and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. AI Platform & Model Oversight Oversee the development and maintenance of enterprise AI platforms and tools. Ensure robust governance for AI models, including version control, performance monitoring, and compliance. Data Architecture & Security Design and maintain scalable, secure data architectures to support AI workloads. Implement best practices for data governance, privacy, and cybersecurity in AI systems. Prompt Engineering & Innovation Guide prompt engineering strategies for generative AI applications. Foster innovation through research and adoption of emerging AI technologies. Deployment & Monitoring Establish frameworks for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) of AI models. Monitor AI systems for performance, bias, and ethical compliance. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related field; MBA or advanced degree helpful. 10+ years of experience in AI/ML, data engineering, or related fields, with at least 5 years in leadership roles. Expertise in AI platforms, model lifecycle management, and enterprise data architecture. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), big data technologies, and cybersecurity principles. We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $162,000 to $202,500 per year. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance. Why Westinghouse?
