As an Order Picker, you will navigate our warehouse to locate and retrieve specified items, ensuring accuracy in quantity and product type. You will be expected to maintain a high level of productivity while adhering to all warehouse Safety standards. We are committed to a safe working environment, and all employees must follow strict Safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent movement and Lifting of items. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders according to pick lists and system instructions.
- Verify item numbers and quantities for each order.
- Use RF scanning equipment to track inventory movements.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged items.
- Follow all warehouse Safety regulations and procedures.
- Participate in regular Safety training sessions.
- Perform tasks that involve frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret pick tickets.
- Proficiency with RF scanning technology.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to perform frequent Lifting and stand for extended periods.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
- Willingness to wear all required PPE.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
