Join our fast-paced logistics center as a Picker/Packer in Austin, Texas. This role is fundamental to ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment, as well as packaging them to meet quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys working in a hands-on environment, and is committed to maintaining a high level of productivity. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure seamless order processing. Success in this role requires accuracy in picking and an understanding of packaging best practices. We place a strong emphasis on Safety and expect all team members to strictly follow established protocols. This includes the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. This position involves regular physical activity, including frequent Lifting of items of various weights and sizes. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products according to order specifications.
- Inspect items for damage before packaging.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Stage packed orders for transport.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station and work area.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Adhere to all company Safety rules and regulations.
- Participate in ongoing Safety training programs.
- Perform tasks involving regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to work accurately and quickly.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following all guidelines.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety shoes and gloves.
- Basic understanding of shipping and logistics processes.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Good organizational skills.
