Foundations, Settlements, and Transfers Team , you will contribute to shaping Coinbase's financial infrastructure, ensuring the secure and efficient transfer of funds. This team oversees transactions involving fiat, cryptocurrency, and internal ledgers, handling client assets directly. You will help guide technical direction and mentor junior engineers while playing a crucial role in the development and enhancement of our financial systems. Your responsibilities will include: Designing and implementing innovative financial products and features.
Creating new tools, frameworks, and APIs for reporting and monitoring.
Collaborating with engineers, product managers, and leadership to translate our vision into quarterly deliverables.
Improving developer efficiency and promoting engineering excellence.
Providing support to operations and fellow engineering teams.
What we are looking for in you: You have a minimum of 2 years of software engineering experience.
You have successfully designed, built, and maintained production services and have a solid understanding of service-oriented architectures. You are committed to writing high-quality, well-tested code that addresses customer needs. You are passionate about creating an open financial system that connects the world. Preferred qualifications: Experience with Golang, Ruby, Docker, Sinatra, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, or Redshift.
A background in developing financial systems with a focus on reliability and security.
Familiarity with blockchain technologies (such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.).

Full-time offers also include eligibility for bonuses, equity, and benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).
