Our team builds engaging, high-performance online experiences, with a strong focus on *usability, performance *and *accessibility. *We are looking for a talented *Full Stack Developer* to help us shape the next stage of our platform by modernising our legacy systems with a leading PHP framework.
*The Role*
As a *Full Stack Developer*, you’ll work closely with our existing Fullstack Team to *design, build and maintain* our frontend & backend systems. If you have a passion for *Frontend *design, this role will be perfect for you as you'll have *creative control* over redesigning our existing frontend infrastructure during our transition period — an opportunity to make a real impact and express your ideas.
You’ll collaborate with our developers on projects, contribute to technical documentation, and ensure that our sites are fast, accessible, and visually engaging across all devices and browsers.
*What You’ll Do*
* Develop new user-facing features and improve existing ones.
* Design and build reusable components and libraries.
* Work with team members to integrate APIs.
* Optimise pages, code and assets for performance and scalability.
* Help define technical specifications and share your ideas with the team.
* Maintain and improve documentation where needed.
* Ensure usability, accessibility and SEO best practices are followed.
*What We’re Looking For*
* Strong knowledge of *JavaScript, PHP, HTML and CSS*.
* Familiarity with *Bootstrap* or other frontend/CSS libraries.
* Understanding of *UI/UX principles*.
* Experience working with *APIs/Widgets *(*JSON, XML*) — ideally building and incorporating your own.
*Desirable Skills*
* Experience with a *PHP Framework* (e.g. *Laravel*).
* Experience with *React* or another modern JavaScript framework.
* Good knowledge of *MySQL*.
* Evidence of *Layout*, *Design *and *Editing *experience (e.g. *Photoshop*,*Figma*,*Illustrator*,*Portfolio*).
*About You*
* Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
* Passion for clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.
* Solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
* Enthusiastic about learning and open to developing new skills.
* Enjoy working with others and being part of a supportive, collaborative team.
