This role is full time 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

*Job Summary*
We are seeking a talented and innovative UX Designer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging, user-centred digital experiences across various platforms. This role involves collaborating closely with product development teams to design intuitive interfaces, conduct user research, and translate complex requirements into compelling visual and interactive solutions. The ideal applicant will possess a strong understanding of front-end development, data visualisation, and usability principles, contributing to the overall success of our digital products.
*What you'll do*
* Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and InVision to communicate design concepts effectively.
* Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure alignment with user needs.
* Create responsive web designs that optimise user experience across devices using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and other front-end technologies.
* Analyse user behaviour through tools like Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics to inform design improvements.
* Apply interaction design principles and information architecture best practices to enhance usability.
* Utilise data visualisation techniques to present complex information clearly and effectively.
* Maintain consistency in design patterns while adhering to brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
* Support the development team during user acceptance testing (UAT) phases to ensure the final product meets quality standards.
* Stay updated on emerging trends in UX/UI design, digital design tools, and technology stacks such as Angular, React, Redux, AWS, APIs, and SCSS.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
* Proficiency with industry-standard tools including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Axure, Balsamiq, Zeplin, Sketch, InVision, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe After Effects.
* Solid understanding of front-end development languages such as HTML5, CSS3 (including Less/SCSS), JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
* Experience with data analysis tools such as Google Analytics or Omniture for behavioural insights.
* Knowledge of SDLC processes and requirements gathering methodologies.
* Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret user data and translate it into functional designs.
* Familiarity with business requirements documentation and API integration processes.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
* A degree or equivalent qualification in Digital Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related fields is preferred but not essential.
