€65.00 per hour General Summary As an intermediate structural engineer you will be required to work within the structural team under the direction of a lead engineer.
Duties may include undertaking design calculations and reports, attending internal design team meetings, attendance at client review meetings, checking structural drawings, etc.
Overall Expectations: Be able to produce structural design calculations and reports for specific elements of the project Work with the structural team to assist with the development of the 3d Revit model, and then be able to review and check drawings Actively cooperate with members of your project task force, client personnel and members of your department, as appropriate Understand client expectations, as determined by the team, and constantly strive to achieve or better these Meet commitments that you make to the client, individually or as a team, to complete work by certain dates or within agreed xcfaprz man-hour or cost budgets Qualifications Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering Chartered engineer Preferable Technically proficient with Eurocode, BSI and Irish design standards and codes Proficient with structural design softwares (TEKLA Designer, etc) Excellent communications skills 5years+ experience in the design of building structures
