Role Overview

We are seeking a Global Portfolio & Programme Lead to establish and manage the operational backbone supporting Hire-to-Retire (H2R) process transformation and HR compliance initiatives.

This role focuses on portfolio visibility, governance, coordination, and infrastructure — not individual project delivery.

You will work closely with Value Stream Leads, Compliance Project Managers, and global stakeholders to create structured reporting, governance processes, dashboards, and workflow systems that provide leadership with clear oversight across initiatives.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys building the frameworks and systems that enable complex global programmes to operate effectively.

Key Responsibilities
1. Portfolio Visibility & Reporting

  • Maintain a consolidated portfolio view across H2R and compliance initiatives
  • Gather updates from initiative owners and convert them into structured status reports
  • Track milestones, risks, dependencies, and delivery health
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership
  • Coordinate across multiple initiatives and regions
  • Identify risks, overlaps, and interdependencies early
  • Ensure actions and commitments are tracked and followed through

3. Governance Support

  • Prepare materials for governance forums
  • Track decisions, priorities, and action items
  • Maintain alignment across global teams and stakeholders
  • Implement and manage tools such as Asana (or similar platforms)
  • Build scalable workflows to support collaboration

5. Automation & Workflow Optimisation

  • Improve coordination using Slack workflows and automation
  • Reduce manual reporting
  • Increase transparency of delivery progress
  • Provide data-driven insights into programme health and performance

What This Role Does NOT Do

Project delivery ownership remains with:

  • Compliance Project Managers
  • Initiative Owners

This role enables delivery teams by providing visibility, governance, and coordination infrastructure. xcfaprz

  • Ability to synthesise multiple stakeholder inputs into structured reporting
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Experience within HR operations, shared services, or global organisations
  • Experience with Asana, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar tools
  • Building Slack workflows or automation processes
  • Dashboarding and data visualisation (e.g., Tableau)
  • Exposure to process improvement or transformation environments

Success Measures

Success in this role will include:

  • Clear portfolio-wide visibility of initiatives
  • Structured and consistent governance processes
