Our growing logistics company in Detroit, Michigan, is seeking dedicated Warehouse Workers to join our team. This role is fundamental to our daily operations, involving a range of tasks critical to the efficient movement of goods. Responsibilities include receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders accurately, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. We are committed to fostering a secure workplace, providing extensive training on equipment and procedures, and ensuring the consistent use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately log incoming inventory.
- Transport materials using pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Pick items according to order specifications using scanners or lists.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, following safety guidelines.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, including cycle counts.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including proper PPE usage.
- Perform other duties as assigned by warehouse management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform demanding physical labor, including consistent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
