Your role will be essential in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods, from receiving and put-away to order picking and shipping preparation. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move, stack, and store inventory in designated areas.
- Transport picked items to packing and shipping stations.
- Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance of forklift equipment.
- Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and stock verification.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to company standards.
- Follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- Report any operational issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to supervision.
- Work effectively with other team members to meet productivity targets.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and demonstrated experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse safety best practices.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to wearing all required PPE at all times.
