We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Portland, Oregon. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement and organization of materials within our warehouse. Your primary duties will include loading and unloading trucks, operating material handling equipment, and ensuring inventory accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties as required.
- Perform other warehouse-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to company policies.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
