Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our growing logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas. This critical role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, directly impacting our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, managing stock levels, investigating discrepancies, and implementing process improvements. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining a precise inventory system that supports our robust supply chain and distribution network. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Implement and improve inventory control procedures to minimize errors and loss.
  • Monitor stock levels and report on inventory status to management.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics staff to optimize inventory flow.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Participate in inventory-related audits and physical inspections.
  • Support receiving and shipping departments as needed to maintain seamless operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with WMS software and inventory management tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 pounds.
  • Understanding of general logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
