We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory levels, minimizing discrepancies, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating stock discrepancies, and implementing solutions to prevent future issues. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining a highly organized and efficient inventory system. - Performing regular physical counts of inventory items.
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Analyzing inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Collaborating with warehouse and operations teams to ensure accurate stock rotation and product placement.
- Implementing and enforcing inventory control procedures and policies.
- Monitoring stock levels to ensure sufficient supply and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Ensuring proper handling and storage of all inventory items to maintain quality.
- Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Must be capable of Lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Experience with inventory management software is a plus.
- A strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial.
