We are seeking dedicated Picker/Packers to join our fast-paced logistics team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders by selecting items from our warehouse inventory and preparing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and efficiency are critical to ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. We maintain a strong focus on workplace safety, and all employees are required to follow safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from inventory based on order specifications.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Pack items carefully to ensure safe transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Utilize RF scanners or pick lists to manage inventory and orders.
- Assist with stock replenishment and inventory counts as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing and picking areas.
- Comply with all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping targets.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in picking and packing or general warehouse duties is advantageous.
- Capability for lifting up to 35 pounds routinely.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Must be able to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
