Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our warehouse operations in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role is critical to our logistics network, ensuring that customer orders are accurately assembled and prepared for dispatch. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for efficiently locating and retrieving items from our inventory and meticulously packing them for shipment. Success in this position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the shipping team to guarantee timely order processing. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is essential for both efficiency and safety. Adherence to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and material handling, is mandatory. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting and a solid understanding of inventory management. This role involves considerable physical activity, including frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and standing for prolonged periods. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick specified items from warehouse locations according to order tickets.
  • Securely and efficiently pack picked items into appropriate shipping containers.
  • Verify product codes and quantities against order documentation.
  • Apply correct labels to packages for shipment.
  • Keep the workstation clean, organized, and hazard-free.
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear designated PPE.
  • Immediately report any inventory discrepancies or damages.
  • Support other warehouse functions as needed, such as receiving or put-away.
The ability to perform consistent lifting (up to 50 lbs) is a key requirement for this role. We are committed to providing a safe working environment and ensure all team members receive thorough training and proper PPE.
