We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring that our clients receive the correct products in a timely manner. Your primary duties will include navigating the warehouse using order sheets or RF scanners, locating products, and preparing them for shipment. You will be expected to maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency to meet daily picking targets.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify product codes and quantities before picking.
- Safely transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Communicate any inventory discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order sheets and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Experience with material handling equipment is an advantage.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following all guidelines.
