Join our vibrant warehouse team as an Order Picker in Richmond, Virginia! We are seeking motivated individuals to accurately and efficiently select items for customer orders. Your main responsibility will be navigating the warehouse to pick products from shelves and storage locations, ensuring the correct items and quantities are gathered. This role is fundamental to our order fulfillment process and demands accuracy, speed, and a commitment to quality. You will work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the timely dispatch of orders. We prioritize safety above all else; all team members are required to wear appropriate PPE, such as safety vests and gloves, and follow all established safety procedures. This physically demanding position involves significant walking, bending, reaching, and frequent lifting of items weighing up to 40 pounds. Experience with RF scanners is a significant advantage. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Use RF scanners or pick lists to guide picking activities.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items and quantities.
- Stage picked items in the designated area for packing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Meet or exceed picking productivity goals.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Comfortable standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
