We are seeking a diligent Material Handler for our Washington, D.C. location. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse, ensuring that operations run smoothly and on schedule. This position is critical to our **Logistics** network, supporting both inbound and outbound processes. You will operate various material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (if certified), to transport goods. A strong emphasis is placed on **Safety**, and adherence to all protocols is mandatory. The successful candidate will be physically capable of **Lifting** heavy items and will be provided with all required **PPE**. Responsibilities:
- Move materials and products within the warehouse.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Stage materials for shipping and receiving.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all **Safety** guidelines and wear required **PPE**.
- Support **Logistics** flow by ensuring timely material transfers.
- Perform **Lifting** of heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Assist other warehouse personnel as needed.
