We are seeking a meticulous and organized Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Boston, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all outgoing shipments. This role is crucial to maintaining the efficiency of our warehouse operations and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, handling various types of packages and coordinating with carriers.
Responsibilities:
  • Verify the accuracy of outgoing shipments against orders.
  • Prepare shipping labels and documentation.
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain inventory of shipping supplies.
  • Ensure all packages are properly packed and labeled for transit.
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, contributing to the overall logistics flow.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a shipping or warehouse environment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with shipping software and procedures is a plus.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
