- Accurately locating and retrieving specified items from warehouse shelves using pick lists or electronic devices.
- Verifying the accuracy of picked items against order requirements before proceeding.
- Consolidating picked items for packing and further processing.
- Maintaining an organized and efficient picking path to maximize productivity.
- Operating equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely and effectively.
- Ensuring all picked orders are staged correctly for the packing station.
- Strictly adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area to support efficient operations.
- Participating in inventory counts and stock checks as required.
- Communicating any issues or discrepancies encountered during the picking process to a supervisor.
This role demands physical stamina, including the ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and extensive walking/standing. A strong work ethic, excellent concentration, and a dedication to safety are paramount. While previous experience as an Order Picker or in a related warehouse or logistics role is advantageous, we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate.
