Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement robust inventory control procedures.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) and ensure product freshness.
- Monitor and control inventory levels to optimize stock turnover and minimize carrying costs.
- Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth product flow.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, including PPE usage and safe lifting.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Train and guide warehouse staff on inventory best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in inventory control or management in a warehouse/logistics environment.
- In-depth knowledge of inventory management software (WMS) and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent understanding of logistics operations and supply chain principles.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Commitment to upholding safety standards, including proper PPE usage.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
