We are seeking a skilled and certified Forklift Operator to join our busy warehouse team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is vital for the efficient movement of goods within our facility. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, stack, load, and unload materials.
- Safely transport inventory to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
- Load and unload trailers and trucks with accuracy and care.
- Assist with order picking, packing, and stocking as needed.
- Follow all established Safety procedures and guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Manage tasks involving significant Lifting, often exceeding 50 lbs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including consistent Lifting and maneuvering heavy items.
- Strong understanding of and commitment to workplace Safety.
- Familiarity with various types of forklifts and their operation.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
