We are looking for a skilled Material Handler to join our dynamic team in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our warehouse facility. This role is essential for keeping our production lines and shipping operations running smoothly. You will operate various types of material handling equipment, load and unload trucks, and ensure materials are organized and readily available. The ideal candidate will have experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery, along with a strong commitment to **safety** and operational efficiency. Your role directly impacts our **logistics** capabilities and the overall productivity of our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Organize and store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper inventory control.
- Assist with **Lifting** and maneuvering of heavy items as needed.
- Perform routine checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and **safety**.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all **PPE** requirements.
- Support **logistics** operations by ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods.
- Identify and report any potential hazards or equipment malfunctions.
- Participate in **safety** training and adhere to all established procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Valid forklift operator certification is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate various types of warehouse machinery.
- Experience with **Lifting** heavy objects (up to 60 pounds).
- Strong understanding of **logistics** and inventory management principles.
- Excellent **safety** consciousness and adherence to **PPE** standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
